Spring means fresh produce, local vendors, and fun community markets! Here’s where to find farmers' markets around Wilmington and New Castle. The market season runs from May to October unless noted below.
- Route 9 Fresh Farm Stand: Route 9 Library. Monday - Wednesday from 10 am - 5 pm. Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm.
- Brandywine Village: Brandywine Mills Plaza, opens mid-July. Tuesdays from 5 - 7:30 pm.
- Newark Farmers Market: Open daily from 8 am - 9 pm, year-round.
- Downtown Farmer's Market: Rodney Square. Wednesdays from 10 am - 2 pm.
- West Side Farmers Market: Cool Spring Park. Wednesdays from 3:30 - 6:30 pm. Starts June 25.
- Delaware Avenue: Thursdays from 3 - 7 pm.
- Glasgow Park: Thursdays from 3 - 7 pm.
- New Castle Farmers Market: Dupont Highway. Thursday - Sunday.
- Carousel Park: Fridays, 2 - 6 pm.
- Bellevue Farmers Market: Bellevue Community Center. Fridays, 3 - 7 pm
- Market at Coverdale Farm Preserve: Hockessin, Weekends. April - November.
- Middletown Farmers Market: Main Street. Saturdays, 9 am - noon.
- Historic New Castle Saturday Market: Historic Green. Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm.
- Northside Food & Culture Market: Every other Saturday from mid-June to August, from 10 am to noon.
- Brandywine Farmers Market: Brandywine Park. Nine am to noon. Spread Good Karma Foundations' Womens Only Walk Club will start and finish at the market.cf
