While the holidays are a time of joy and celebration, they can also be difficult for youth with autism and other developmental or intellectual disabilities. This workshop, presented to you by the DNEA, will present strategies that can assist in reducing holiday-related stress and challenging behaviors. This training is designed for all community members. This may include but is not limited to, people with autism, their families, healthcare providers, first responders, direct support professionals, and early childhood professionals. After the training concludes, participants are welcome to ask questions and interact with the shared resources. All participants will be provided with visual picture cards related to winter activities.
