Salesianum School Theater launches its season, “Into the Unknown” with a  production of Mary Zimmerman's adaptation of “The Odyssey.”

Together we will embark on an epic journey alongside Odysseus as he navigates the trials of both sea and self in his quest to return home. This innovative retelling of the original adventure story brings the ancient tale to life through dynamic staging, striking visual elements, and a vibrant ensemble cast that captures the emotional depth and timeless themes of love, perseverance, and identity. 

With Zimmerman's unique blend of poetic dialogue and imaginative storytelling, our production promises to immerse viewers in some of the foundational myths of Western culture, highlighting the universal struggles of humanity while honoring the spirit of this artifact of the era of oral tradition. Join us as we explore the profound connections between past and present, adventure and homecoming.
