Alternative parking areas for the event are as follows: Old Kmart lot at 100 Grove Lane Placers building parking lot 850 Library Avenue Newark High School faculty parking lot 750 E Delaware Ave (NHS main lot unavailable on Nov 2) There is a Handicap drop off location at the Library's driveway entrance on Main Street

If 50th Library Fest on Saturday, November 2nd is rained out, this event will take place from noon to 4pm on Sunday, November 3rd. The library building will open at 1pm Sunday regardless of the 50th Fest. Featuring community partners: Friends of the Newark Free Library, Newark Police Department, UD, Aetna, Chemours, The Newark Partnership, Newark Arts Alliance, City of Newark, Bloom, and New Castle County.
