Back for the third year with new stories and old favorites, the Newark Historical Society presents ghost stories drawn from Newark history and delivered on site where they actually took place. Find out what Edgar Allen Poe really did in Newark, why you wouldn't take a bath on the top floor of the Deer Park Hotel, and what happened when someone forgot to "look both ways" at the railroad crossing.  


These tours are in partnership with the Newark Historical Society. Routes are ADA Accessible and cover approximately 0.5 miles.


Meet in front of Munroe Hall between the UD parking garage and Delaware Avenue.


This event is rain or shine and open to the public.


Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.


Pre-registration is required.
