As summer leads into fall, go with us on an epic learning adventure. You’ll try a series of classes, such as paleontology (fossil identification), robotics, husbandry (taking care of live animals), and more!

Enjoy these timed presentations:

• “Literature Class” – Storytime in the Nature Nook with Megan at 10:30 a.m. 
• “Ecology Class” – Join a guided nature walk outdoors (weather permitting) at 11 a.m.
• “Technology Class” – Join us for the AR Sandbox demonstration at 11:30 a.m. 
• “Animal Husbandry Class” – Meet a live animal ambassador at 12:30 p.m.

Fun activities available from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.:

• “Paleontology Class” – Explore fossils with a museum educator.
• “Art Class” – Create a dinosaur drawing in the Nature Nook.
• “Astronomy Class” – Explore how stars form with this hands-on activity.
• “Ornithology Class” – Look for birds in the museum’s backyard bird blind.
• “Physical Education Class” – Walk the outdoors Evolution Trail (make sure to hit the big bang gong!)

Enjoy learning from these Community Partners:

• “Engineering Class” – Meet and get the know the robots and the students who designed them with the MOE FTC Robotics Team and the Teletubbies Robotics Team.
• “Math Class” – Enjoy math activities with Mathnasium of Pike Creek.
• “Biology Class” – Explore how microbes move with a hands-on activity with Prof. Victoria Muir from University of Delaware from 10 a.m. – noon.
• “Library Sciences” – Explore the wonders of books with Woodlawn Library

Refreshments available: Treat yourself at the Rest, Relax, and Recharge Cafe, where you can purchase a variety of drinks and snacks. 

Free for members, included with admission for non-members
