Description
Held the first weekend of March, the Delaware Mineralogical Society's annual show is a feast for the eyes and all-ages fun! Children under 12 and scouts in uniform free! Learn about rocks and fossils in our exhibit area, where members of the club and the community share their collections and explain about the wonders hidden in the Earth. Watch stone carvers demonstrate their craft. Take a chance on our raffles to win some amazing pieces or take a spin at the prize wheel for smaller delights. Meet our members and find out about our club. We love telling stories about our adventures! Explore two full ballrooms of dealers offering wonders for every budget. Our club sales table offers affordable pieces for those just starting their collections, with offerings that are sometimes local, sometimes exotic and always a little different. Our knowledgeable commercial dealers offer a fantastic array of gems, minerals, fossils, jewelry, meteorites, and more, from tumbled stones to museum-quality specimens. Tickets are sold at the door only. Do not be fooled by online ticket vendors.
