Please arrive at 11:45am sharp...walk begins at noon!Description
Put on your finest witchery and march proudly along with the Wilmington Witches as we do our inaugural march in celebration of Spooky season! At 11:45am we will meet at Bellefonte Park at 907 Rosedale Avenue in Bellefonte, Delaware. At noon we march up Bellefonte Avenue and down Brandywine Blvd., ending at the festivities on the corner of Brandywine Blvd. and Grove Avenue. A short walk; yes! But a fun walk and a walk to spark future walks! The Wilmington Witches Walk is taking place in conjunction with The Shops of Bellefonte Boo-tique & Monster Market, so stick around after to enjoy food trucks, local vendors, live music, and more!
To participate:
1. Put on your favorite witch garb!
2. Show up!
Note: You do NOT have to live in Wilmington nor be a member of the Wilmington Witches group to participate. This walk is open to all who are willing to join us in their witch garb, including children and leashed pets, but please be discerning. If your beloved furbaby does not do well in crowds or consistently get along with other animals, please leave them at home, for the safety and consideration of all. The Boo-tique & Monster Market is a family friendly event so expect to see children. They'll certainly be excited to see you! Please do not eat them. That's so cliché. 😉 **This event is religion and politics free. Please leave those at home, too.**
