Established in 1999 by Artistic Director Pasha Kambalov and Executive Director Kristina Kambalov, First State Ballet Theatre is Delaware's only professional ballet company. FSBT employs a talented roster of dancers from around the world to present classical and contemporary ballet, including new works by local and internationally recognized choreographers, on stages across the state of Delaware and beyond.

Find a Class For Every Age, Level, and Skill at FSBTBringing Delaware exceptional ballet training since 1999. FBST offers classes for students aged 18 months to adults, with a curriculum based on the Vaganova syllabus. Available in Whitehall and at The Grand Opera. | Students (ages 8-21) have a chance to develop their technique and artistry at the Summer Intensive. Inspiring dancers (ages 4-8) can get an introduction to ballet during the Summer Children’s Workshop. | Connect with your body on a deeper level; for beginners and experienced dancers alike, maintain mobility, flexibility, and strength.
| Performances Students participate in various community events: the Fairy Festival, the Arts Fest, a Divine Night in Delaware, the Peach Fest, and more. Students demonstrate their growth and abilities at the end-of-year June showcase. |
