The Brandywine Zoo is less than five acres and located in Wilmington, Delaware, along the Brandywine River in beautiful Brandywine Park. The Brandywine Zoo is open daily, 10am – 4pm (last admission at 3:30pm).
The Brandywine Zoo features animals from the tropical and temperate areas of North and South America, Asia, and Africa. The zoo animals range from more common species to the highly endangered.
Our zoo is small with mostly smaller animals. They provide numerous learning experiences, conservation projects, community outreach programs, and special events for all ages throughout the year.
