Phoenix Used Clothing is Delaware’s first and only female/minority-owned textile collection and recycling company dedicated to revolutionizing how textiles are managed and repurposed. Their mission is to address the growing environmental concerns associated with textile waste while creating a sustainable and circular economy within the industry.

Their approach involves implementing a comprehensive textile collection network, partnering with businesses, municipalities, and communities to raise awareness and collect unused or discarded textiles. They streamline the collection process through strategic collaborations, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimizing environmental impact.

Once collected, usable items are repurposed for various applications, including apparel, home furnishings, insulation, and more. By closing the loop on textile waste, we reduce the demand for virgin resources and contribute to the preservation of natural ecosystems.

Recyclable items are collected via:

  • Clothing deposit bins at designated collection points in Delaware
  • Direct pick-up from private and business contributors
  • Drop off at our recycling facility.
