If you visited White Clay Creek every week for a year, you still wouldn't hit all of their 37+ miles of trails and places to explore. White Clay is a dream destination for hiking, biking, walking, fishing, admiring natural wonders, and soaking up history. The park is a fishing oasis since the White Clay Creek is the most heavily stocked water in the state of Delaware.
White Clay Creek is a nationally-designated Wild and Scenic River. This honor is given to rivers that have remarkable scenic, recreational, geologic, fish and wildlife, historic or other similar values that led Congress to add these waterways to the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System.
After a day admiring the great outdoors, visit the 200-year-old Chambers House Nature Center to learn more about the park and its natural wonders.
