Bear Library opened in 1998 and immediately became the busiest library in the state of Delaware. It re-opened its doors in January 2013 after undergoing a multimillion-dollar, state-of-the-art renovation. As the unofficial town center for the Bear community, the 25,000-square-foot facility provides more than 135,000 items for loan including audio, video, magazines, e-books, databases, and print books. |
