What are Family Favorite Awards?
Throughout the year, Macaroni KID brings you the inside scoop on all things local- now it's your turn to tell us YOUR favorite local spots! We want to know where your family loves to hang out, eat, pamper yourselves, and everything in between.
It's no secret we love small businesses here at Macaroni KID! We're looking for a way to recognize their hard work, dedication, and impact to our community.
How Does it Work?
Nominate a local business here. Nomination period: May 1 - 26 (11:59 pm EST)
The top 5 businesses in each category will move to the final round. The finalists will be announced on May 27.
Voting will be from May 27 - 31 (11:59pm EST) voting closes
June 2: Winners announced!
What Will The Winning Businesses Get (Besides Bragging Rights)?
- A Free Upgraded Business Directory Listing
- A Frame-Worthy Certificate and Digital Badge
- A Spot in Our "Best of New Castle and Wilmington" Article – read by thousands of families!
- Plus, one local entrepreneur will win a $300 advertising package. All winners will be entered, and one will be chosen at random!
Rules:
- One nomination per e-mail.
- Business must be local to New Castle County and Northern Delaware including, but not limited to: Wilmington, New Castle, Newport, Hockessin, Greenville, Winterthur, Rockland, Claymont, Talleyville, Marshalltown, Pike Creek, North Star, and Newark.
- Macaroni KID validates all votes and reserves the right to remove suspicious entries.
We all know small businesses are the heart of our community. This is a 100% free opportunity to give your local neighbors a boost. Celebrate Small Business Month by recognizing the businesses that mean the world to your family.
Plus, you'll help fellow parents find the most recommended pediatricians, story times, playgrounds, and more. Let's be honest- we all could use one less thing on our plates!
