What are BOO Bags?
BOO Bags are goodie bags filled with Halloween trinkets and candy that families in Kent County deliver to friends and neighbors at night. Those families are then tasked with BOOing 2-3 other families of their choosing thus kickstarting a "pay-it-forward" community project.
What goes in BOO Bags?
Any goodie that you'd like, cookies, chocolate, gum, popcorn. If you’re wondering about non-food/candy items go into BOO bags, pencils, stickers, tattoos, glow sticks, play dough, bookmarks, mini notebooks, and crayons. These items should NOT break the bank! Coupons for FREE ice cream or a round of golf also work as BOO items.
How do I make a BOO Bag?
Step 1:
Get two bags, buckets, or baskets, it can be as simple as a brown paper lunch bag, and fill them with treats.
Step 2:
On the outside of the bag (or inside) place the We've Been BOO'd printable. Click the image to download and print.
Step 3:
Pick two neighbors, family, or friends and secretly deliver your "BOO" on their front step! DON'T let them see you!
Step 4:
Watch the "BOOs" spread!
