The Battle of the Branches is a friendly competition between participating libraries to see who can recruit the most blood donors.
Blood is routinely transfused to patients with cancer and other diseases, premature babies, organ transplant recipients, and trauma victims. With someone in the U.S. needing blood every two seconds, blood products must be constantly replenished. Join us in donating blood, saving lives, and showing your library pride.
Donors of all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, B negative, and A negative.
