The First State's First Parenting Help Line

November 3, 2023

When it comes to parenting, it really takes a village (maybe a few, in fact). Lucky for Delaware parents, a new "villager" is here to help stressed-out parents. The Family Life Project launched its Smart Parent Text Line this week.

Do you need someone to talk to about the various needs or concerns of your child? You can connect to real coaches who are available to assist regarding the your child's educational, emotional, and social development.

By texting their Smart Parent Text Support Line at 833-521-0891. A staff member will give you a call within 10 minutes of receiving your text.

Staff Hours

Monday: 5 - 8 pm

Wednesday: 9 am - 12 pm

Friday: 5-8 pm

Please note - this is not a crisis line.
